Hello and good morning! Is it really Friday already? This week flew by! I hope you’ve been enjoying Decades Week with The Digit-al Dozen as much as I have. These weeks challenge me and I love that I find things to do for nail art that I wouldn’t have already tried without the prompts!

This manicure is inspired by the 70s tv cartoon Scooby-Doo. (Okay, okay, if you want to get technical, the first show was in 1969 but I already did a 60s mani this week.) Shaggy is Scooby-Doo’s best bud so of course I had to paint him as well. The other two nails are inspired by the design on their cool van: The Mystery Machine.

The main base color is OPI Who The Shrek Are You? After trying to photograph this with Seche Vite top coat, the shine lines were running through the faces, so I added a coat of Butter London Matte Finish Top Coat. I think I like it even better in person mattified as well. MATTE ALL THE NAIL ART!! That could be my new motto.
What do you think? Were you/are you a fan of Scooby-Doo? I don’t think my kids have ever watched it, but we do buy the Scooby Snacks for school lunches. Thanks so much for reading and commenting this week!
