Good morning, readers, and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!! Are you wearing green? I am on my nails! This is the mani I’ve been sporting all weekend and I really like how it turned out! I used my “Pond Hearts Tutorial” but changed it up a bit by using The Nail Junkie Apple and shamrock shapes in-between the polish layers!
I love how bright and neon The Nail Junkie Apple is, and the fact that its a sparkly jelly makes me so happy to have it! It was perfect for this mani! I have 4 total layers of Apple, with three layers of white creme “shamrock” shapes (added after each layer except the final top layer of Apple). I did the same as I did in my heart tutorial linked above, but to make a “shamrock” shape, I did three hearts with a small dotting tool that touched in the center of the shamrock and used a thin nail art brush to do a stem.
They weren’t perfect and I think that’s why a pond mani was a great way to wear these shamrocks. The layering and overlapping helped hide the wonky ones!
