The Digit-al Dozen DOES Vintage, Day 2: Felix The Cat Nail Art!

In Digit-al Dozen, Nails, OPI by Jacki18 Comments

Good afternoon, readers! It’s time for another “vintage inspired” manicure. Today’s design is Felix The Cat, the adorable character from silent films as early as 1919. He seemed like a perfect character to paint and I almost did this manicure back for the Black and White theme week. I’m glad I waited to do this manicure because it fits better with this theme in my opinion. Eventually there was sound and color added to his show and even a movie (or more than one? I’m not sure). The rest of my nails have the pattern of his “Magic Bag Of Tricks.”

Isn’t he the cutest cat? I want to try and find some of his films because I’ve never seen him.
My accent nail is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Black Onyx for the details. My other nails are that fabulous new yellow from the OPI Brazil Collection: I Just Cant Cope-acabana
What do you think? Are you familiar with Felix The Cat? Thanks so much for reading! Come back tomorrow for day 3 of Vintage Week with The Digit-al Dozen!

Omg I use to love watching his movie, but I haven't seen it in years and can't find a copy of it. This mani brings back some fond memories. Great job
