Sally Hansen Leopard Salon Effects Nail Strips!

In Nails, Sally Hansen by Jacki11 Comments

Good morning, readers! I have a quick post today on what I have on my nails (and have been wearing for the past 3 days). I decided to try out the Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips in the leopard pattern this weekend as a bit of a break for me. They look gorgeous, weren’t difficult to apply, and have given me some time to catch up on editing swatch photos and write up some posts.

As I wrote before, I’ve had them on for 3 days and only have the slightest bit of tip wear! I did take these photos the morning after I applied them, though. Maybe I’ll take some follow up pictures when I finally take them off. I also added a top coat of Poshe after I applied to help seal in the tips and it made them even more shiny!

Because these strips can cover really long nails, I’ve actually cut mine in half to use on two nails each and now still have the second sealed package to use again.

What do you think? Have you tried the Sally Hansen Salon Effects before? This is my first time applying to my fingers. I have used them on my toes in the past and they lasted a month and a half! Thanks for reading!

I love the nail strips, and I do the same with cutting them in half to wear the second pack later! I have been able to have them last for at least 2 weeks without lifting/peeling, but there was a noticeable gap at the cuticles that bugs the hell out of me, but I get antsy about even a few days growth showing lol

I loved your manicure. These nail strips are too expensive in my country in comparison to the Sally Hansen polishes, so I prefer to buy the polishes because they last longer and I can make the combinations of colours.

Hi Jacki, I've tried these before, and this specific print too. I like them but they start to fray after a while – although I do admit that they outlast chipping nail polish.
